English-only fictional example

What your people would receive.

Elena Morgan has left guidance for her daughter, Maria, and her brother, David. Maria has the household information. David has the workshop’s business reference. Each receives only what Elena chose for them.

These people, institutions, references, and documents are fictional. If Elena’s guidance were released, it would follow attempts to reach her, a review by a person on our team, and a 72-hour final notice to her first. A missed check-in alone does not release anything.

First, a notification.

The email contains a link, not the private message, account references, or documents. Here is Maria’s example, using the real notification wording.

A message Elena Morgan left for you

Hello Maria,

You're receiving this because Elena Morgan used Trust Relay Services to record where their important accounts and policies live, and what they wanted the people they named to know. After a careful review by a person on our team, we are releasing what Elena Morgan prepared for you.

Open your secure page

Or copy this link: #recipient-views

When you open it, we'll email you a 6-digit code to confirm it's you. Nothing is shown until you enter it. The page holds the guidance Elena Morgan wrote for you, any personal message they left, account references, and documents. You can return to it later; each visit asks for a new code.

With care,
Trust Relay Services

Trust Relay Services helps people organize this kind of information so it reaches the right people. We are not a legal or financial service, and this message does not transfer money or accounts — it is the guidance Elena Morgan left. If you have questions, write to support@trustrelayservices.com or reply to this email.

Example only: the link above jumps to the samples on this page. It does not open a recipient account or send an email.

Before the private page opens.

On the real recipient page, we email a six-digit code to the recipient’s address. They enter that code and acknowledge an informational notice before the contents open. Each later visit asks for a new code.

The notice explains that Trust Relay passes along recorded information. It does not determine inheritance rights, legal ownership, or whether estate documents are valid. Receiving information does not itself give someone a right to property.

There is no code to enter here. Both fictional pages are shown below so you can read them without signing up.

Two people. Different information.

These are examples of what appears after the code and notice steps. The labels and reading order follow the real recipient page.

Maria’s example

Elena’s daughter receives four household institutions and one example document listing. Downloads are unavailable in this example; the document-link wording below describes the real page.

A personal message

Maria, take this one step at a time. These are the places to start. There is no need to sort everything out in one day. With love, Elena.

Guidance left for you

  • Example Family Bank · Bank

Contact the bank’s estate team to ask what documents they need.

The household account is here. Use the sample reference below when asking where to begin.

  • Example Investment Office · Investments

Ask the account provider about its process before sending documents.

This is where I kept the long-term investments. Ask the provider to explain the next steps.

  • Example Home Records · House papers

These papers identify where the property records are kept.

The house-paper checklist is listed below with the documents.

  • Example Life Assurance · Insurance

Contact the insurer directly about its claim requirements.

This is the life policy I wanted you to know about.

This is the guidance the person who named you wrote, in their own words. It is not legal or financial advice, and nothing here transfers money or accounts.

Account references

  • Example Family Bank

    SAMPLE-BANK-001

    SAMPLE-HOME-003

    House-paper reference.

  • Example Life Assurance

    SAMPLE-POLICY-004

These account references were left for you by the person who named you. Trust Relay doesn’t access these accounts — contact each institution directly to make a claim.

  • SAMPLE-home-papers.pdf

For your security, these links expire 15 minutes after you opened this page.

These are documents the person who named you chose to leave with you through Trust Relay. We’re passing them along on their behalf — we’re not a legal or financial service, and receiving a file here doesn’t by itself settle an estate or transfer anything. If you have questions, reply to the email that brought you here.

David’s example

Elena’s brother receives only the workshop information and his own message. No documents were left for him, so no document section appears.
